Do I need to buy a domain?
No. Your site gets an address the moment you create it and works straight away. If you would rather use your own domain, you can add it later without starting again — and we will help you point it here.
I already have a website. Do I throw it away?
No. If you like how it looks, it can keep its host and its address and take its content from here instead — one small file changes hands and we set that up with you. If you do not like how it looks, pick a theme.
What happens when I get stuck?
You write to us and a person in Thimphu answers. Setting up a domain, moving an old site across, or a theme built for you — those are things we do, not things you are left to work out.
Can I change theme after the site is live?
Yes, and it does not touch a word of what you wrote. Content and look are stored separately: the theme is three files served from here, your content is the data behind them. Switch, look at it, switch back if you prefer the old one.
What happens if I stop paying?
The site stays where it is and starts serving its own maintenance page instead of your content, and we email you every day until it is sorted. Nothing is deleted while that is going on — renew and the same pages come straight back.
Who can see the images I upload?
Only people you send to your site. Image files are not reachable by guessing a URL: the site payload carries signed links that expire, and the stored file paths are never published.
